Our Mission
At Legacy Worship Academy, we are committed to teaching children how to grow in their faith, in hopes that those values and beliefs will be passed on for generations to come.
A “legacy” is something that is passed on. That legacy can be one’s faith, core values, character, reputation, etc. It can leave a significant impact and encourage future generations. A legacy can leave a pathway and provide guidance to family, friends, and one’s community.
At Legacy Worship Academy, our goal is to live a life that honors God, especially in the way that we approach education, and to leave a positive impact on the world around us. Our number one priority is to keep it simple. Loving God and loving others is most important. Students will enjoy learning and will be encouraged to explore their interests and God-given gifts. Legacy Worship Academy hopes to provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged.
What is LWA?
- Legacy Worship Academy is a Christian microschool and homeschool hybrid program providing families with a non-traditional alternative to education.
- We offer flexible full-time and part-time options for families looking for a Christ-centered learning environment, specialized instruction, and unique enrichment opportunities.
- The term “microschool” describes a unique learning environment, reminiscent of a traditional one-room schoolhouse, where private education and homeschooling converge to offer an intentional educational experience in a relaxed environment. It’s the best of both worlds!

- Certified in Middle Grades Education (4-8) Reading, LA, SS
- Special Education certified
- Gifted Endorsement
- Master’s in Postsecondary Education
- Has experience in all levels - elementary, middle school, high school, and college
- Homeschool experience
- Experience leading mission trips to Costa Rica
- Experience leading small groups (college students)
